One of the first projects I was brought onto Microsoft to help out with was spicing up the #MicrosoftEDU Giphy page. As an educator and student-friendly space, we wanted to create a collection of GIFs that covered a gamut of emotions, especially ones that aren't as well-represented. With our small, but mighty team (see video above) consisting of our art director, Abigail Steinem, illustrator extraordinaires Jon Morries and Riley Frambes, and myself animating, we created a catalog of GIFs that quickly amassed millions of shares in schools as well as professional settings. It's a great feeling seeing your work pop up as a reaction in the wild.
